Big Ideas is MIT Sloan Management Review’s program of sponsored, original research exploring issues reshaping business, with a strong focus on AI.
For each initiative, I developed a hero graphic to communicate the overarching research theme. The challenge was to give abstract subjects—such as technology-enabled transformation and the augmentation of human capabilities—a compelling visual form. Working with shape, structure, and implied movement allowed me to express those ideas without relying on literal imagery.
The graphics needed to establish distinctive identities across different topics and partners while remaining part of the Big Ideas brand. I adapted the artwork across research reports, web pages, and promotional assets, balancing variation with a consistent visual approach.

TCS Hero Graphic: The brief called for a sense of augmentation, connected workflows, and movement. I built a modular composition of overlapping, directional shapes within an underlying grid. The grid provides structure, while the layered forms suggest movement and flexibility.

EY Hero Graphic: The brief centered on technology-enabled transformation, interconnectedness, and bridging gaps. I used repeating, interconnected dots to build undulating, growing forms, suggesting movement and connection within a unified structure.
