The project started as hand sketches, moving from rough to tighter and tighter comps before finally moving to digitizing.

A promotional logotype concept for a special edition of Daisy by Marc Jacobs, built around themes of spring, renewal, growth, and beauty. All of the lettering started as hand-drawn sketches, refined through multiple stages before moving to digitization. “Bloom” is built in a modified Tuscan style, with organic, leaf-like serifs and subtle interior detailing to capture a feeling of spring and growth. “Wildly” is drawn as an energetic italic script, loose and quick, with subtle shadows added to the connecting strokes for dimension and added legibility. Flourishes tie the two together into a single mark that feels at home within the Daisy brand world.
